#6. The magic and work behind the color.

This video is a brief 10-minute summary of the more than 20 hours it took artist Miki Montlló to give color to that particular scene from our game THE NEXT BIG THING. If you add the time it took to complete the design, drawing and line cleaning, you can see that behind those scenes, and not even including tasks like 3D adaptations, real-time lights and shadows for the characters, or music and sound FX, just to name a few of the many tasks involved, there is a truly huge amount of work performed by several people over many, many hours.
Background line by Ximo Ferrer, background color by Miki Montlló, music from THE NEXT BIG THING soundtrack, by Juan M Martín.

Por dios, excelente trabajo!... mi voto por un video en HD que se vea un poco mejor el detalle jeje y ya puestos a pedir, si tenéis algún otro video en la filmoteca con un escenario más diurno me encantaría poder verlo :)
PD: A qué no os atrevéis a hacer lo mismo con el making of del port de ios en programación jajaja :P Lo sé no es tan vistoso... sobre todo si estáis tantas horas compilando.. xo eso son minucias! jejejeje :)

Joé qué preciosidad. Es mucho más que dar color, da forma, cambia parte del escenario con esas formas... en fin.
Sabemos el resultado, pero no siempre conocemos el trabajo. ¡Ambos igual de geniales!
¡Qué fuerte! No sabía yo que se pintaba todo el escenario así con photoshop! No es una técnica complicada, pero la visión y el trabajazo de flipar!... Lo difícil es dibujar esas perspectivas distorsionadas y adecuar el movimiento del personaje (que supongo que será más fácil).
¿Cómo sabéis cuando un escenario está terminado? Parece un trabajo interminable!
Me gustaría ver cómo se diseñan los escenarios, sobre todo de los bocetos para sacar esas perspectivas, que supongo que serán a mano alzada y con mucho ojo.
Dios, cuánto trabajo!! No es interesante, sino fascinante verlo!! Está muy bien que enseñéis esto, porque yo (pobre ignorante) no tenía ni idea.. Me encanta el detalle que dáis a todos los objetos.. En fin, genial!! Gracias por compartirlo!
